Kimberly Walters, is a very special lady, she made me feel that she and the staff would take excellent care of my mom. Stephanie Hager, the nurse, answered all of mine and my mom’s questions. I just knew that my mom is going to be in a safe place. Allison WrightTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. UPDATE: my mother passed away on July 20, 2026 in the facility at Stratford Place. All I can say is the staff were so loving and caring with my mother towards the end. They provided comfort and care for her as well as my brother and sister and I. The staff always asked how we were doing. Inquired if we needed anything. These people are truly angels. You cannot be in this profession without caring and loving what you do. My brother and sister and I recently placed our 87-year-old mother in memory care with Stratford Place. It was a decision that we did not make lightly. My mother has adjusted beautifully to Stratford Place. She is starting to make friends and feeling comfortable. The staff is very patient and tender with my mother. They’re always very friendly when we come in for visits. I feel so much better knowing that my mother is in a safe place. Staff were attentive and kept us, the children, informed of any changes or needs. Staff were supportive throughout the time Mom was present, and especially during Mom's last few days before her passing. We were very pleased with all aspects of Mom's stay at Stratford Place. I needed a place to move my mother into for more care than she was getting. I looked as several places within the Goose Creek area and did not find what I was looking for to place my mom. My first impression of Stratford Place was the cleanliness, friendly staff, and the happy faces on the residents. The Sales Director answered all of our questions, showed us multiple room options and introduced us to many of the staff. She was knowledgeable, caring, and showed an obvious love for the residents as we walked through the facility. We also me the head nurse and the executive director who further cemented our resolve to move mom there. Since she moved in three months ago, she has shown more interest in getting out and mingling with the other residents, takes physical and occupational therapy sessions and is receiving excellent care from the staff in her daily needs. I can highly recommend Stratford Place for anyone requiring the services of an assisted living facility James PaulTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife entered the Memory Care community on March 17 and I wanted to give the staff a chance to show me the pros and cons of the facility and their personal interaction with my wife. It has now been just over two months and I couldn't be happier with the facility, the staff and above all the care shown to my wife. It was a difficult decision to place my wife into a facility, but having done so I wish I could have done so earlier. While we both have long term health care insurance, it does not cover the first 90 days. If your family member has insurance, I highly suggest making sure what your specific policy states. The entire staff has so far gone out of their way to make my wife's transition a positive one. I was truly worried that she would insist on going back home, and in the first few hours she did, but she finally decided to give it a try and 24 hours later she was making new friends. Three people in particular deserve special recognition. Derek, the Director of the community, was excellent in explaining how procedurally everything would transpire and also did the evaluation to determine the best level of care my wife would require. He has been part of the process from start to finish and gave me a very good feeling in how everything was being processed. Stephanie, the Director of Nursing, was very helpful in setting up my wife's medicine delivery and answered any questions concerning health care issues both chronic and emergency services. My greatest praise however goes to the woman that has not only been my point of contact for the initial process of obtaining a room, but her advice and understanding of my situation was so invaluable. Kimberly has the title of Sales Director, but that does not come close to describing all that she does, not just for the family members, but the residents themselves. Once they go through her office, her care for both the residents and family members doesn't stop there. She considers all the residents to be part of a large family family and tries to speak to each of them daily. She genuinely cares for all the residents as if they were part of her family. But, even more importantly to me, she has been a trusted friend that has helped me through some very difficult moments as my wife has slowly declined cognitively. She truly has been a Godsend to me and my sanity. She will continue to be a friend long after my wife is no longer a resident. All things considered, you will not be disappointed with the facility, the staff and the care your family member will receive. I highly recommend Stratford Place for your family member needing a higher level of care.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
